Teach them to your children, talking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Deuteronomy 11:19
I have written two resource books published through Concordia Publishing House: Paper Paint and Print: Art Projects for Bible Learning has 29 art projects for young children. Each project uses commonly found materials, is connected to a memory verse which includes a devotion and allows children to be creative in a successful way. These activities can be used in a day school, child development center, Sunday school classroom or even at home.

It Only Takes a Spark: 40 Active Faith Building Talks includes simple science experiments most of which use common household items. Each experiment has directions, an explanation of the science and a devotion to connect the learning. These have been used with early childhood and elementary age children in the classroom and as part of a children’s message for church. They would also be fun to do at home.

Both the science experiments and the art activities could be made into take home kits for parents to enjoy with their children while sharing their faith.
